Once I received my Glide Care G-5 my feet have thanked me! It keeps me from having to walk very much. I use it for all my appointments. I love the turning radius. Since our mower has a joystick, this was easy to drive/move around various obstacles and people. I just wish I had a cupholder and cellphone holder. I thank the company in Louisiana for getting me started!! Many thanks to this company Glide Care for the lightweight electric wheelchair!! People love it!!!
We have an X-1 manual wheelchair and it has become our travel chair due to the ease of use and the way it folds to save space. My wife weighs about 220lbs and this chair handles her with ease. We have had some trouble with the caregiver brake handles due to broken springs, however Comfy Go has replaced these under warranty for just the cost of shipping. I don’t feel the springs are the Comfy Go fault rather I think they have received faulty springs from their vender and hopefully this issue will be resolved. With this exception of broken springs I would recommend this chair highly.
Everything with my IQ-8000 is awesome. I've had a lot of people ask me about it. I always tell them how great it is and how its helped me so much. The only problem i have is the tipping wheels come off. I just ordered 2 tip over wheels. I have a 3 year warranty and don't know if they are covered. Great chair though
Exceeded my expectations. Easy right out of the box! Very comfortable. Easy to fold, open and transport. Really happy I chose this model.
We unpacked the wheelchair today. It is loaded with features. We took off the footplate and replaced it with leg/footrests. My mom is going to have a level of independence that she’s been missing. Thanks!
